This place is expensive and the portion sizes are very small for the price. I am a fan of the Coke freestyle machine, but the food is just not impressive. There is way better food for way less money just about anywhere.

Delicious and quick. It's a must try. I'm partial to the penne rosa with chicken Parmesan.

Great food. Loved the soda machine. With all the different flavors you can combine that alone would make it interesting every time. I ordered the Japanese Pan Noodles with beef and it was great. Plus I enough leftover for lunch tomorrow!

Why is this place listed as Chinese? The menu doesn't have any Chinese dishes. Anyway, we tried the pad thai and thai soup and thought it was really bland. Tasted like the cook threw curry flavor on top of undercooked noodles and a couple mushrooms in a bowl of water. I wouldn't recommend these dishes. The prices are a little misleading, everything is an add on and the portions are not very big. Wanted to give this place a try but won't be coming back.

Consistently the friendliest, quickest, and most efficient noodles and company restaurant. Great gluten free options, love the rice noodles. They really take care in avoiding cross contamination.

I agree with the previous reviewer. Very busy and the tables are really crammed together. I don't enjoy eating with people looking at me, wishing I would hurry up and finish so they could sit down - even though I had just done that to some other poor diner. The traffic flow is awful - you are constantly bumping into someone to get to the drink machine or your table - if you can get one. The food was ok - but nothing special. I got the Rosa Penne, which was ziti noodes, some chopped tomatoes and parmesan cheese in a tomato-cream sauce - it definately had some red pepper flakes in there, too. It seemed like a pretty small portion, even for lunch. Also - it does not come with any breadstick or garlic bread. For the price and service, go to Casa or Zianos or even Fazolis. I might be back to try something else - but I won't go out of my way to do so.

i give 2 stars because the food is good. But the service is poor. Several times they got my order wrong. I recommend checking your order before you leave the store. I've been several times to the Hamilton Noodles in Indy and they have excellent customer service and so when I heard one was coming to Fort Wayne, I was excited. So I like Noodles & Co., but I have had bad experiences in this location.

We were here on a Saturday night for dinner about 6 weeks ago. The food was delicious and different from other items that you can get at other restaurants. In other words, it seems unique. However, the food was rather expensive and the portions very very small! Also, the dining room was freezing. We had to eat with our winter coats on, not a fun experience!

Definitely a different kind of eating! It was dead when we went in so we stood reading the menu and trying to understand it for a few minutes. A big man approached us and explained the menu. He was nice in his attempts, but the big guy with a deep loud voice was rather intimidating and almost scared my wife and me off! He was informative and helpful but just a little scary! We ordered our food, paid and they brought it to us! The coke machine offers many different flavors and additives to your cola of choice! Raspberry coke is great! After finishing my meal I did return to the counter where a sweet young girl sold me a Chocolate Chip cookie. The cookie was rather under cooked and doughy, but her smile was great! Where was she when we came in? After selling me the cookie, she went back to sweeping the floors. (She should be a face for first contact with that great smile!) Overall, we had a great experience! Will recommend to friends to try out!

We used to eat at noodles and company in Colorado and we were excited when we heard of one opening in ft Wayne. Every time we have been it was very busy! It seems rather expensive for what you get and I often leave hungry, so we don't eat as often was we used to. Good food though, great gluten free options.

We went to noodles and company today for lunch Here is our review: Upon entering the place ( it was of course packed) ( no seating) due to it being new. The menu is a bit confusing at first. It says pick a protein then pick a noodle then add soup or salad for $1. The soup /salad is not part of the bowl but a separate thing. They make it sound like they will add it to your bowl of food. The cashier was pleasant but not overly friendly. We ordered our food and got the "regular" size bowls and added a salad for $1. Total of the bill with 2 drinks was about $24. We fought for a table. If you want a comfortable dining experience this is NOT the place to go. The seating is horribly uncomfortable ( imagine those round stools like at a bar ( with no backs ) but without padding and too close to the tables) .( the table seating was no better) If you set in the back room you will be walked by constantly by someone with dirty dishes ( just what you want to see while eating). They will try to grab your bowl out of in front of you with food still in it. Be prepared to grab it and say " I'm not finished" more than once. The decor is modern and cafe like.. pleasant but nothing special. The drinks - your choice of the coke freestyle ( bad idea with only one machine to service the entire place ) ( prepare to wait in line for 5 min or more to get your drink unless there is a lull in line) . You can also get unsweetened blackberry green tea ( that was horrible, I had to dump it and get a soda) with only sugar or the pink stuff or honey as a sweetener option. When the food arrived is when the biggest disappointment occurred. There is nothing special at all about this food. The noodles themselves were regular boxed noodles ( like the .89 cent a box kind) The sauce, again nothing special at all, nothing a amateur cook could'n't whip up in 5 min on the stove. The toppings ( mine had mushrooms ) were scarce.. there was literally 5 small pieces of mushroom. ( I didn't have a protein). The flavor was ok ( not as good as a .29 cent pack of vegetarian ramen noodles though) ( and I really don't even care for ramen noodles) The amount of food you get is not good at all. The regular ( which is considered the large) is about 1 1/2 cups of noodles so the value is pretty horrible. ( my meal was around $8) ( the salad was $1 extra) . The salad ( or soup) is very small, maybe 1 cup and has a unpleasant vinegar oil dressing on it. It contained lettuce a few tomato pieces and some cucumber. The amounts were inconsistent. We ( and many others) left hungry super disappointed and $24 broker than when we arrived. I think we both actually looked at each other when leaving and said " nice idea but epic fail". We will not going back. My suggestion would be to not waste your time/money with this place.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
